Music Review (Bruno Mars-Grenade)
Grenade, one of many songs of Bruno Mars , has a sorrow
lyrics. This song on his first album, Doo-Wops & Holigants.
The scenes of music video, showed us about a man who brought
a big piano on the long way towards a woman’s home (his girlfriend), but after
he arrived, the woman was intimating(huging) with another man.
The song tells us about a treason, “ I’d catch grenade for
ya” is a little part of lyrics which tells us that a man will do anyting for
his girlfriend, many lyrics which have the similar meaning alike that, but the
woman won’t do the same, she’s only a liar , she say love but not doing
anything.
The music and MV in this song seems different with the Bruno
Mars’ song before, “Just the Way You are” and “Lazy Song” present with an enjoy
and cheerfull style lyrics,music, and rhythm, while “Grenade” showed an
upset,sorrow,sadness, and feeling blue someone, and finally he suicides in
front of the train.
There is implicit scene in this song, when an old man and
many hoodlums meet him on the way, and the view almmost monoton because
mayority of scenes in this movie are spent by brought a piano on the long way.
But all in all, Grenade is a nice song, nice to listen , very touch with all
lyrics and an unique Bruno’s voice. Just listen it and you will always listen,
believe me !
